Preparing for another take of Thought Glass
I’ve recently started using a video production service called Man With A Cam to help me shoot Thought Glass on Vsauce2. They’ve been integral in improving the visual and audio components of the show and having actual experts setting up the shoot has been fantastic.
I hire a Director Of Photography to run the camera and a Production Sound Mixer to perfect the audio and hold the boom mic. They even offer to do minor post production tweaks to both the sound and video before sending me the files so they can make sure it’s as high quality as possible.
As you can imagine as a YouTuber that started by using a built-in laptop camera to make videos in his bedroom – this has been a major and welcome upgrade!
