I had the opportunity to visit the Verizon Wireless Device Lab in Bedminster, NJ. It’s unbelievable how much testing goes into the mobile devices we rely upon each day. From anechoic chambers that test speaker and microphone quality to a massive tumbler that literally drops phones hundreds of times to test durability.
Big thanks to Sharon Oddy for setting me up with Chuck Hamby who facilitated this visit. They promise to have more mind-blowing tech in store for me in the future – we’ll have to wait and see!
